Some objects carry more than age—they carry lives.
In Legacy and Lace, a delicate lace tablecloth passed down from my grandmother becomes the quiet foundation for a gathering of heirlooms. Resting upon it is my husband’s grandmother’s antique coffee grinder, alongside timeworn books and a sturdy cast iron teapot—simple objects that once belonged to everyday moments: morning coffee, shared stories, and the rhythm of home.
Set against a deep, moody background, these pieces feel suspended in time. The textures of lace, iron, and worn pages speak to the beauty of things that endure—objects that survive generations and hold the memories of the hands that once used them.
This painting is a meeting place of two family legacies, woven together through the quiet poetry of ordinary things. Legacy and Lace invites collectors to bring that sense of history and warmth into their own space—a reminder that the most meaningful treasures are often the ones that carry stories forward.
