This is the last of my 30in30 Hot Summer Event daily paintings! I made it through. This painting is set up with some of my old antique wooden spools of thread. There's just something 'down home' about them, not the plastic world we live in now. I used to make quilts, and that fabric behind the spool is quilt batting (filling). It would be cute in any room, or a sewing/craft room or family room.
